| Trailing servo
I am in need of a trailing servo. I killed the stock one this weekend. I am not sure if it was the water, I greased it, or the weighted tires with very soft foam. The tires gripped great, but I think I over used the servo. What is a good waterproof servo for these rigs? I've looked at the solar, but fear I'll be replacing it soon. What's a good next step? Thanks |

Buy something titanium or steel geared and waterproof it yourself. I stripped out a Hitec HS5646MG within 48 hours of buying it.

Your best bet is buying the best servo you can afford and water proof it your self. One less thing to worry about, buy once and be done. |

That's another option, however I'm not all impressed with my first try. And I do know know what's best.

If you're just trailing, grab a traxxas 2075. 125oz at 5v plastic gears but the rebuild kit for the gears is like 5$.....I have yet to strip one. I usually smash the output gear off from hitting a wall at 40mph.
