If your wanting to stay low on price and not too worried about scale I love the hb sedonas and had them on a set of 2.2 axial rocksters. If wanting to stay scale look at the pit bull rock beast 2s and whatever bead locks you want. I would go with a bead lock jus in case you wanna switch tires around easier then gluing and degluing.

Completely loaded question....

But I like my R35 Ripsaws....they just work!!!

I have used them on stock wheels, axial rock stars, axial trail ready bead locks and VP SLW bead locks....they all work fine. This the offset that makes the difference.

Personally, I like the 2.2 axial rocksters and Proline TSL Super Swampers. I've had them in mud and rock and they don't load up, truly self cleaning.

+1 for the rockster &tsl combo, i'm running the same on my ridgecrest. 6.5oz front 2oz rear sticks like glue. Clean em with simplegreen they stay nice and sticky

Thanks for the responces. I ordered up some of the Rocksters and will mount the HB Rovers on them.
I may swap for the Super Swampers in the future.

I agree with this. I was going to replace them but once I cut the tires they improved them by 200% (in my eyes). Now I want to replace them for looks but they grip so well I don't want to risk going backwards performance.

I got to test out the new Rovers & Rockster beadlocks today. This Deadbolt is a completely different animal.

Hey guys, after a few weeks with the HB Rovers and Axial Rocksters, I've concluded that the tires are awsome but, the Rocksters have too much offset. This additional offset causes the allready weak C-hub joint to be an even bigger problem. Axial does not give any offset info on theyre site. I just figured the Rocksters would be similar offset to the stock wheels.
What Beadlock wheels are less offset than the Rocksters?
Is there a site that might give a comparrison of wheel specs?

Proline Titus Beadlocks, Proline Super Swamper TSL SX's. I run them on my Trail Honcho, ran them on my Wraith as well.

I run Axial XR10 beadlocks on my ridgecrest they are the same offset as stock.
but a wider offset is more desirable. Aluminum "C" hubs and knuckles would be a better upgrade then
changing rims.
Personally I want more offset.

You will find that with more offset comes loose chubs. I have gone from beeftubes to aluminum axles to vanquish clamping chubs....all come loose with too much offset. Think mexican hoopdy with the tiny spoked super offsets sticking out....soon to break axles hubs etc...It's all about leverage.

You will get multiple upon multiple answers. But my $.02. I have to +1 for HB Sedonas on ax10 wheels with redcat beadlock rings (they are heavier than axial's) with some weights in the front and slightly smaller foams to get an aired down effect they grip like you won't believe.

I use stock Venom creeper wheels and RC4WD Super Swamper TSL Boggers. Increases the width by 1/2" and looks mean. Maxxis Trepadors get a thumbs down from me.

Hi, I use Gmade GT rims and rc4wd mud slingers, tires are good but I dont like the massive offset from the gt's. oh the mud slingers are the soft ones

It's been a while since I started this thread and I've bee through a few tires & wheels with my Deadbolt.

The latest are the "Pit Bull Rock Beast II" on Gearhead RC EZ Lock wheels and they are the bomb.
