| Stock steering knuckle question
What are the 2 extra flanges on the back side (rear of vehicle side) of the steering knuckles for? I hate not being able to figure out the function of something and none of the replacement knuckles have them.

I believe the knuckles are used on other models that use those steering links instead of the high clearance links Sent using lipo power |

Thanks. That pointed me in the right direction. The XR10 uses them to route the steering link behind the axle, with the tie rod still being in front.

The knuckles and C-hubs currently used on the AR60 axle were originally used on the XR10, which used a factory BTA setup for the tie rod. I leave the one in place that contacts the axle housing at full steering lock. It makes a good steering stop and keeps the universal shafts from binding. |

No need to cut them off, leave it be. They will not hurt your setup. Unless you get universals.
