Default AE-2 and tekin compatibility

Will the Stock AE-2 esc be compatible with a 35t hand wound tekin. I dont want to buy the motor esc combo if i dont have to. Thanks for your time! The site has already helped me learn a ton, hope a learn enough to give back soon.

No problem on 2S. If you want to use a 3S LiPo, it'll still work, but you'll likely need an external BEC for the servo.

Sweet thank you. Would it be bad to run a nimh 6cell?. Thats what the local shop set me up with. but im thinking i would like to switch to lipo. Thanks again. Im HOOKED

A 6 cell NiMh will work as well, but you'll really appreciate the power of a LiPo. You'll need to change the LVC setting in the AE-2.
