| Beetle/Bug body for Deadbolt?
Me and the wife were at the hobby shop this past weekend and she saw a VW Beetle/Bug body on a customer car. Not sure what the frame was though, but it was low and wide (unlike the AX10). She races actual dirt buggies (like a sand rail) and see's the body as a throwback to her brothers' racer back in the day and fell in love with it... so here I am trying to make her happy. I did a search and found lexan bodies for a Scorpion, but none for the 2nd gen. Will they work for the Deadbolt or should I be looking for something different? I'm afraid to get something "generic" for a 1/10 and having to trim it so much that it'll look ridiculous. Any and all help is greatly appreciated! |

I run one on mine, but I could not tell you the model #. I was originally purchased for my AX10 scorpion. The way the body sits in the picture is as low as I can get it without chopping up the chassis.

proline makes various bug bodies, just compare the wheelbase to see which one you will need. You stated it was low and wide..... Wondering if it was a axial yeti with the proline bug body Cheers, Wade |
