Default Alternative Battery Tray options?

Does anyone make or have any of you figured out hot to slightly enlarge the battery tray to allow for easier battery r&r?

I tried to search but the search engine is really kludgy on my iPad taking a very long time to return results. Then only allowing a 2nd search after 60 sec., which although I understand why is simply too long to wait IMHO...

You do realize it's adjustable if you loosen the screws & slide it back?

Thanks, yes I saw that it is but even after widening it, the battery leads are still troublesome when you r&r the battery.

I don't know how the leads are with the brushed ESC, but with my MMP the leads are nice and long. The wires come up from the passenger side. I plug the battery in with the whole battery in my hand, then tuck the wires over the rear/top of the tray, then drop the battery in with the wires coming out the driver side of the tray. The wires find somewhere to land back there and it all fits perfectly.

I'll grab some pics tonight.

How about a lower COG alternative?

I'm considering putting it ontop of the passenger side rocker with a simple sheetmetal tray and just ditching the interior to make battery swaps painless. Probably have to put the shift servo ontop of the electronics box though.

Balance on the bomber is spot on for level jumping, so I would've want to relocate it. I ended up buying 3s soft lipos for the bomber as my hard case I use in the Yeti were difficult to fit.
