Default How much slack is allowed between the c-hub and knuckle?

I've been checking my Bomber for the weekend run and I found that the front wheels have a lot of slack/play... everything seems tightened, but the upper and lower joints between the c-hubs and knuckles are very loose. I don't remember seeing this way from the beginning...

Vanquish F9 AR60 axles with Vanquish c-hubs and knuckles (the regular ones, not the scale ones).

Has anybody experienced this? If it is bad, how to fix it?

Put new ones of these in - Vanquish Products Knuckle Bushings:

If they don't fit perfectly, you can either file the bases thinner (if they are too tight) or add washers between them and the knuckle (if too loose).

Yeah, I am using those! Will change them to a new set, lets see what will happen...

So, the bottom line is that it shouldn't be any slack there?

Thanks, guys!

In my axle builds I used a combination of those on the top location and Axials on the bottom.

The Axials are very thin, and not made of bronze - I think they are steel.

I was using different brands of components than you, my parts tolerances are not going to be the same as you will experience.

I also used shims on one set and slightly filed and sanded down the other set to get a perfect bind-free fit without any noticeable play.

I guess, I have found the problem!

I took off the wheels and turned the truck upside down for some maintenance... Blue thread lock + tightening and much better!
