Default Which CI foam for stock tires?

I'm planning on sticking with the stock tires for now. How are you guys finding the tires and which CI foams are a fit for them? Thanks very much!

I installed Double Deuce 5.5” Comp Cut Inner / Medium Outer in my kit RR10 tires on Incision Method M307 wheels. They seem to be sized right, but I have not run them yet.

Some recommend using the Soft outer version on the front tires for better crawling performance, keeping the rears harder because of weight transfer during acceleration.

CI Double Deuce 5.5 comp cut inner / medium outer F/R works great for me with the kit wheels and tires.

No tuning rings so far ; although I may try them (Eddie included them for free)

I would definitely go with the Double Deuce inserts for the stock tires as recommended. Tried the Deuces Wild inserts first and they are a terrible fit; the standard is too small and the XL is too big.

I have Deuces wild standard's in my stock bomber wheels/tires, while a touch small, they seem to work awesome. They give that touch of added grip.

I am using them currently on my yeti, that is setup more for speed, and absolutely love the setup.... It has completely changed my opinion of the Yeti, it now actually can Steer, go fast, and tackle semi technical hill climbs. Now I'm interested to throw them on the bomber, and see how they do in more of a crawl environment.

Agreed. Same foams in my stock R35 tires.

Do you guys find the stock foams to be too soft? My bomber, when it actually runs, flips over on its back more then Madonna in the 80s. I notice that the tires will fold right over when turning

Very soft. I threw in Crawler Innovations foam and never looked back.

There's 0 support in the stock foams.

I made a terrible quick video showing the difference in stock and Deuce Wild foams. Stocks definitely push and fold over like a wet noodle.

that was quite obvious to me which was which lol. do the CI foams still give while crawling?

Is the vehicle more stable at high speeds w/o rolling over as much w/ those foams?

and what size did you go with? I see they have like 4 options for 2.2.

I find they do. There's some airspace between the foam and tires and it does conform quite well.

I would say it helped some at high speeds but the Bomber isn't great over 15mph anyway IMO. I went ahead and threw on some SLW .725 hubs to help at high speeds as well.

With stock tires or stock height tires, use the 2.2 standard Deuces Wild. CWR-3003, Deuce's Wild Single Stage 2.2 Standard Foam Pair (2) - Crawler Innovations
