Never use Castle motor. But love my Castle mamba extreme ESC and Holmes hobbies puller pro 2200kv motor on my heavy Wraith. I found the PullerPro quite reliable even under extreme load and punishment. Yea, good motor though Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

The ESC for sure is good to go. However can't say much about the 1406-3800, haven't seen that combo in Bonbers yet really.

I would look at the ROC 412 3100Kv. The new HD series are the same price and "element" proof as well.

I run the Mamba X and 2400kv motor. Complete overkill but it runs super cool so I guess overkill has it's merits
