VP clamping Horn and servo mount.

If you really want a servo saver, use the Pro-line Big hit.

I have both. After the upgrades, (VP Axles, SS Links, VP Wheels, c-hubs, knuckles) the Savox 1210 could not bare the pressure. Got a PL Big Hit and quit stripping the gears out of the Servo. Steering is a bit sloppy now, but I think it is manageable.

If your just crawling and trail riding, get the aluminium horn. If you got a fast setup and will be jumping and crashing often, then you'd need the servo saver.

Exactly. And set your end points correctly. A servo saver is sloppy for precise steering lines.

Be warned with the proline bighit jobbie that its M3 rather than M4 thread on the ends. I modded mine with some m4 threaded rod.

Servo savers and slipper clutches don't belong in crawlers IMO. If you're bashing it's a different story.

I just mentioned this in another thread... the slipper in my Spawn kit works perfectly. No maintenance. Sslips only when one of the wheels wheel is working against another.

If you go both ways it is good to have the protection. However I can see where the servo saver will cause issues trying to navigate rock obstacles. But that is what the throttle is for.

My $.02,
