Yeah, I used no spacers. Everything just seemed to drop right into place.

At full compression, yes. If I try to push down on the chassis I get about 1/2 the travel from the suspension as you'd normally get. That would be an issue if I were jumping it. Luckily we're crawling. I get full articulation with everything configured as I have it. No added weight, just a six cell Sub-C pack up front over the axle.

Here it is in action. Stock except for the relocated chassis components.

Front still reaches full artic, just whole axle compression is limited by the servo hitting the bottom of the battery tray.

Not a big deal.

I set my Electronics box up so it looks like a scale gas tank like my 73' Bronco. Kinda like what others have done. My box is just reversed. Nothing special, but, looks cool. This whole SCX kit rules.

Not sure what I am going to do with the battery holder yet. I don't know if I can fit up at the very front. Got my steering servo mounted to the chassis.

make split saddlepacks like i did, then you can still use the rear fuel tank idea with the electronix in it. Worx great!

You missed the entire point of this thread, didn't you?

Improve the performance with box stock parts and hardware.

The SCX-10 is a bolt-together scaler. Go get an ESC/motor and a battery pack and go.

I'm just showing folks how to use stock parts to relocate things as they build for better performance out of the box.

Assuming this was addressed to me, or someone else. not sure, but, I plan on just using my 7.2 6 cell and maybe strapping it across the chassis from left to right in the front of the rig, behind the shock mounts. That is what I do on my other rig.

Here's where I put mine. On the crossmember between the rear shock towers. Made a lexan plate that screwed down with the two screws used to bolt the rx case the the crossmember.
