Default SXC10..Something Different... ;) ...

Hello,
As a long time lurker here at RCC I have always had projects on the go. When the SCX10 was released I was over joyed at the prospect of a nice Box Scaler to bash.....Well I could not leave it alone. I had My SCX10 on the Second week it came out and started wrenching on it. I have to say that I have enjoyed every aspect of building this little beast.

Specs

SCX10 Kit
Integy alloy case, Axle Mounts and HD Drive lines. (Got it when it was half off on Integy site and yes I know of the flaws and well there were flaws.lol.)
TPMG995, 11$ RCMART
HPI GRU
STOCK 540SH
TLT Tranny mount for GRU, I love left over TLT stuff.
Wheels and tires are spares, waiting for G8 Irons
Moped 16R, GRU provides good drag brake.. ..
Losi Radio/Rec..2.4GHZ.

Thats about it, not sure on body and looking at making some bumpers or just buying the Prolines.

With the 540SH I would say its a bit faster then my 55Turn but with silly tourque.

Pics

Thanks For looking, Please feel free to yell at me for spelling SXC10..LOL..SCX10 same diff......Have a cookie..James

Runs Great, Mildly High CG with the motor up front, I may try and lower it a bit but it gets in the way of the servo..hmmm...Thanks James

not a prob buddie!
i was amazed how much "stock" stuff works on this truck right out of the box myself. I just found that another link from the "4-link" set up works for the panhard bar. So now all i have custom made by myself really are the steering link from the servo horn to the knuckle and the custom bracket for the panhard bar on the c-frame.

all i need now to make this appear as it were not touched by myself would be a 70mm bar to replace my steering link.

Well I dug this out of storage. I am looking to mount a Pro Line Cherokee Body and under tray. I will also be upgrading the motor and esc with something, not sure what..lol..

The chassis is pretty much un changed from 2 years ago. I will post some updated pics soon. Good fun.

Damn!!! That thing looks tough and ready to go! Everything "under the hood" is so neat without all a bunch of wires hanging out. Look sick and I would love to see run.
