I got my Kit! Can I use a "Robinson Racing 18T 48P Metric" Pinion gear on it?

Axial uses standard 48p pinion and spur gears, at least I am almost certain. I guess I used my own spur and pinion on my stuff and haven't had the rtr. I would still bet its stanard 48p.

the 28 prob wont fit with the stock spur.. I had a 26 that barely squeezed in and my motor was mounted out as far as possible.

I squeezed in a 22 tooth 48p NON metric pinion
with the stock scx spur. Used the paper methode to set mesh.
I can traction roll the truck at WOT(wide open throttle)
running a Tamiya silver can mabuchi motor
Plenty of crawlin Grunt, cant see a need for more, Crawls just fine.
Gonna back down the pinion to a 18 or 20,,dont need
that much speed in a trail truck :XD
Runin a 3300mah radio shack Nimh $25 part # 23-319
Plenty of run time. I can see no need for brushless or Lipo in
a Trail truck,,But I like my toys so someone convince
me otherwise
