Default scx transmission

Is there ant differences between the scx10 and ax10 transmission's?

As far as i know it's only the slipper clutch and the shaft it goes on to that are different.

No difference except the SCX has the slipper option with the longer top shaft out of the box. Cases, all gears, bearing ect.. are the same and completely interchangeable. The motor plate is slighty different, no milled 'cooling' channels but thats the only difference.

Depends on what flavor of the AX10 you are talking about. Kit, ARTR, RTR

There is no diff as others have posted. Its the same trans and slipper as the RTR

which model has the "cooling channels" I have the kit one, SCX, and Stand alone w/slipper installed the kit ones' motor plate is slightly thinner but none have the channels

My kit does, as does my separately purchased transmission. Both are old, first couple of months on the market purchases.
