Default New guy intro

Hey guys. I've been on the site for a little while and final decided to post up my truck for all to see. Some of may remember my Tamiya Hummer that I recently traded for an axial scx10. Wow, what a difference.

I'm running a novak 55t motor. G3 esc(borrowed from hman1991) Losi reciever and radio. Futaba s3305 metal gear hi torque servo. Venom 3000 battery pack (lasts over 45 mins.) I added driveshaft rings because I broke the front awhile back. Hopefully this stops them from popping LOL.

I'm running with the battery in the front for better weight on the front tires. Basically everything is stock. I'll get to the pics. If they're too big, let me know and i'll resize them. Don't laugh too hard at the paint job on the proline body. I got it like that.

Little articulation shots from the backyard mulch pile.

There's nothing wrong with adopting a good idea.

I know. It just that so many of them are popping up now. I hate to copy others. I plan to keep it different tho. We'll see what happens. I really wanted a hardbody that I didn't have to mod the chassis to get to fit. i'll keep everyone posted when I recieve the body. Thanks

Got some bodies off ebay. They showed up today!!! Here's a few. If Anyone wants to buy the axial body or the proline chevy body, hit me up. I don't plan to use them.

Just some paint chips on the f350. Nothing major. Time to start peeling stickers.

Here's some pics of the body mounted.

And this is how I chose to mount the body. Good ole' velcro. I drilled holes in the rear block of wood. Super glued to the stock body posts. The front was done by previous owner. We'll see how it works. Enjoy!

cool truck dude, you should move the battery to the front of the truck though. "i did it in mine" the handaling and stabillity will get so much better it will feel like a new truck. Very easy mod to do and will climb nearly 60 deg angles with ease. But you need to add a bit of weight to the rear, this will help balance it out.

I had the battery mounted in the front until tonight, when I mounted the f350 body. I think i'm gonna cut down the battery tray mounts for the front( better cg too). It wouldn't fit with the new body.

Quick update and a teaser sht of the painted body(not finished). Metallic purple. I'm gonna do the bed a textured flat black so it looks like a bedliner. Along with the mufflers. Gotta keep it different. Feel free to comment.

Quick update. Got the body put back together. Looks alright to me. I like the pushbar on the front. Nice little touch. Can't wait for my SDI fender flares to show up. Gonna look nice. Here's the pics from tonight.

It is for sale. I took these pics about a week before I posted it on scale4x4rc.org. If anyone is interested in buying it, pm me.

If I get 300 for it, i'll include the S.D.I. fender flares, for the F-350 body, that are n.i.b.
