Default Brand new diff locker with no tab on one side???

I picked up a scx 10 and im on step two when i noticed the metal diff locker only had a tab on one side! i even took off work tomorrow to build it and run it, sucks. Is this a common issue i looked around and didnt see anything

Mine was the same way in my kit. I didnt feel like waiting on a replacement so I jsut put it together. Its been fine the lock fits tight even with out the ears. I ran mine with a sidewinder 4600 and a 3 cell so Its been through a lot. Stripped r2d, stripped ring and pinion but when I looked at it whem i replace the ring and pinion it was fine. You should be fine if you cant wait to put it together like I was. lol Here is a pics of mine.

Yeah, it still should be fine the indention in the cross wrap around the diff screw holes....they will hold it in place.

yeah so far ive just put it together, makes me a little angry though since ive triied calling axial on 3 different days 2 different times a day, left messages and have gotten no response, is there a worse customer service out there???

Send an Email to there Customer service. I did because there was only one shock hoop in my SCX 10 kit. They were really fast responding and shipping.

well axial got back to me, apparently they were all down at a comp. which is understandable, now i feel bad for saying what i did so SORRY AXIAL, they contacted me and are sending me a new one. i guess they do got some great customer service over there....
