Yes, a hard body without the ridiculous price would be awesome! I for one would love to see something along the lines of an old dodge power wagon body.

I second that train of thought, someone (Axial???) needs to crank out some of the most sought after hardshell body styles. You're not going to let the Japanese beat you to it, are you? Speaking of which, I'm surprised one of the major toy companies hasn't gotten on the bandwagon and done it already. Scale hardbodies at a reasonable price...there's an assload of money to be made there . Troy. |

If the hard bodies were cheap to produce they would make them. "If someone would just come out with Ferrari's real cheap everyone would buy one". Where is the head exploding smiley when we need one.

Point taken. I guess "a reasonable price" is open to interpretation . Troy. |

I drove the TR for over an hour yesterday. I was at the Worlds and Axial had one. We went on a little run and photo shoot. The rig is super fun and very capable. I am not a scaler guy, but I am definitely looking forward to getting one of these.

I am sorry but the hard body prices from tamiya are ridiculous. It can be done much cheaper. Someone will catch on and start producing reasonably priced hard bodies.

Axial told me at the Worlds that they have been shipped and that they should be in the US in two weeks. If I understood him correctly.

I like it. I noticed that the kit ground clearance is 3" and the TR is 2.7". If they are the same chasis, why the difference? Different shock height?
