Well Aaron and I got them bolted on last night and walked out the door to test them and all of a sudden it was POURING rain. So we tested them on the 3" lip in my garage They seemed to cycle smooth, but it should be said that we had to disassemble each of them and notch the pistons with a Dremel to allow oil to pass by. I had to do this with these same shocks on my FJ too.

What gearing did you go with at the tranny? Spur or Pinion.

Right now it is running stock gearing (87/14) however I have a 20t and an 18t pinions here that I am going to try.

Right now I am re-doing the rear bed area. After looking at it with the smaller shocks I decided I wanted to fit the buckets much tighter to the them. With the stock SCX-10 shocks with reservoirs on there they had to be HUGE. I went and picked up a strait edge cutter from the craft store today (normally used for paper) and it is making this so much easier as well.

i think a steering wheel on the dash would be awesome! you could go to walmart and buy one of the little scale dirt bike riders and glue his arms to the wheel. you could even piggy back the wheel of of the servo... just ideas

greatbuild!

I think I like it better without a body on it.

Ok I am calling the bed area all done now. Both fender wells are done and everything snaps into place. I started work on the dash last night, it is going to be a lot of trial and error though to figure out how I am going to do that. I need to go pick up some filler of some sort, not sure what to use though.

Here are the final unpainted bed pictures with my good camera.

The black gap you seen between the bed and fenders is actually the tube work. Everything flows together pretty well so it should look good when it's all black.

Slap a 4600 in it and bring it over to the track.
