Default Whats recommended to do to the SCX10 right out of the box?

Didnt find any or a sticky for the SCX10 like the AX10. Just finished my 1st AX10 and getting ready to start a SCX10. Are there any threads out there showing what to do right out of the box?

leave the rubber bump stops out when you build the shocks, mount the servo to the frame, move the battery up front, and add weights to the front wheels just to name a few

I too don't use the bump stops and use 4oz of weight in each wheel. I also find the stock springs to be a little stiff so I don't preload them with the threaded shock body. Really help make the suspension flex plus the tires grab like crazy. I also drilled a hole in my wheels to vent them but I may change that seeing I'm running so much weight.

Im also wondering about any improvements made to shocks or lockers in the TR version since the kit version - any? Anything suck as heavy duty lockers that I need to change out when building? I was considering the TR just to get any upgrades but did that w/ the AX10 and regretted it.

The shocks on the scx10 kit and TR are the same. They both have the HD lockers
