Default Yes

I have a New Bright 4door Jk and yes you do have to extend the wheel base. the new bright body needs a wheel base of exactly 13 inches.
Good luck.

Well, since you phrased that in comprehensible English, let me answer that for you. First off, most of the two door Jeeps have a wheelbase around 10 inches or so. The wheelbase of the SCX10TR is 11.5" if I remember correctly. And the wheelbase of the 4-door JK is 13"

Oh don't worry dave, I'm genuinely annoyed by your "txt spk" too. Having to "decode" a person's post before you can read it is a PITA.

So in other words, to fit any of the jeep bodies on the SCX10, you are going to have to change the links or modify them either shorter or longer. But why would you want to change out the SCX10 TR body? It's really good looking.

I apologize. Had I know you had a disabliltiy I may have not taken that stab. May have not. Generally I am bombarded by people who don't bother to take the small amount of effort to make sure what they are wrighting is comprehensible. Hey, at least I did answer all your questions for you, and did help out. I didn't just poke fun, I helped too.

Like I said, the wheelbase of the SCX10TR is 11.5
The four-door JK is 13
Most of the other NewBright JK two-door models are around 10.

You can use any of them, you will just need to do the work to get the look that you want.

Its more than just spelling, it is grammer aswell. This is why you need to pay attention in school.

If you want to just build a JK scaler, why not just buy the kit version and do it right?

This is where Dave comes back with a " Touche' " (Phonetically speaking it's pronounced "too-shay")

LoL

....And I happen to think that these TR bodies are Fugly as sin(love the SCX10 100%, don't get me wrong). What effin' rig are they supposed to be a 1:10 scale of anyway? I would think that MOST builders would want to axe that body A.S.A.P.

I for one know that most of us build/drive these rigs while following our hearts. We try to replicate something that is personal. Either we owned the real thing, or a friend or father or grandpa had one. Maybe you could never afford the real thing? It makes me feel warm and fuzzy to drive my little FJ40 that looks like the 1:1 I had to sell many years ago. Axial should have at least got licensing for a real truck....No? Yah? I need a hug now...
