Default Silver links on bumpers

Where is everyone buying the silver links that people have hanging off their bumpers? Sorry, but I don't know the name of these things.

Here's a picture.

also known in the 1:1 world as a Clevis. Must haves to even pass tech.
Give ya another word to search under.
I grabbed mine off my Proline Bumpers before I gave the bumpers away. They do really look the best, but...they are plastic and I have already broken 1 of them. So I have also been searching up ebay/google/etc.. for miniature clevis and there really isn't too much out there for them in the 1/10 scale world. I am currently trying to make some myself by heating and forming 1/8" rod steel. I'll keep this thread in mind once I have completed some, but for now the ^above^ post is the best I could find as well for real metal ones.

So is that your TR in the pic? Those do look the best when comparing the others listed on this thread. I'd be up for some that look as realistic as the ProLine ones as long as they aren't something rediculous like $10 a piece.

No that's not mine,
This is mine, as you can see from this pic, the clevis looks very similar to the one you posted.

Like I said I am using the Proline Clevis's off my old proline bumpers but have already broke one, hate plastic.
Yeah, some of these scale parts are ridicolous in price for a little peice of metal. That's why I hope to make my own.

I agree with the price. Some I've found are as much as 1:1 scale!! For now my truck will have to go without them.

The First link I posted has a smaller set that look a little more "real"....Plastic D-Rings are tragically tragic IMO. Although the proline stuff looks good, I never understood the plastic bumpers and roll cage either. To each his own...

These are the best shackles I've found, and I looked all over the internet:

A main factor in my search was functionality. Sure, the Pro-Line shackles look good and are the perfect size, but if you actually use one you'll find it's about as strong as a stale pretzel.

These are stainless steel, so strength is not an issue. You ain't breakin' these, I don't care how heavy your truck is.

The problem is, I got them off of Ebay 6 or 7 months ago. I just searched for a few minutes and could'nt find them today...

Can you go back through your sales history and post the seller's username?

Sorry man.

I tried my seller history and it doesn't keep records far enough back.

And I tried every search keyword I could think of on Ebay.

I remember worrying about them coming from Hong Kong, and it took them like 2 weeks to show up, but they made it.
