Default Kit Links For The TR??????

I think I have finally decided to go with the TR Since lights, bumpers, the body etc etc. But my biggest concern is the plastic steering links and the regular links. Where can I buy just stock ones fro the kit version?? I cannot find any anywhere!

To do it you have to look up all the part #'s from the kits manual which can be found on axials website. It isn't very cheap to switch them to the kits aluminum links btw

Like Proraptor said, it'll get spendy just buying all the links. Probably more than $50. I'd HIGHLY suggest building some yourself out of all-thread and Traxxas rod ends. Do a quick search and you'll find out how to make them on your own.

I don't know what all the TR comes with that you can reuse but here is everything I could think of.

AXA1429 - upper y link rods
AX30516 - tie rod
AX30524 - lower link rods
AX80015 - upper y link
AXA186 - grub screws
AX80032 - straight Rod ends
AX80018 - balls for rod ends
AX80005 - angled Rod ends
AXA1418 - spacer on y link

That parts list is the same one I made for switching out all mine. Looks like you got them all covered there Locked Up.
Anyone remember the lengths of the links for the upper links when you add the four link brackets to the axles. I added some Traxxas links I had lying around but they clocked the axle way to much and I'm starting to think this is why my tranny is making noises b/c of the extreme driveshaft angles.
I know theres some threads about those supplied four link brackets, I'll take a look-see.

Thanks everybody, especially for that list. Guess I'll just be stuck with what comes with it for awhile I've never custom built anything like that. I've had a mini-t and a Pede other than that I've only had nitros, tryin to sell my savage now if anyone is interested, but really really wanna do a scaler semi crawler thing I think this'll be the truck for me. Just like the Aluminum links so much better.

To build links you can use a variety of stuff and it's pretty cheap/easy. Here is a start ...
- Dremel (or similar tool) with cut off wheels
- 1/4" .049 wall tube
- 6-32 all thread (any hardware store/home depot/lowes will have it)
- 3mm Rod Ends - will need to slightly drill them out for the 6-32 all thread.
- Balls for rod ends

so with all these parts it would make all the links and stuff Aluminum right?

I actually prefer the stock suspension links as they slide over the rocks better. The aluminum steering links are a must!

Exactly....If one wheel gets stuck on a rock the front plastic rod will bend instead of moving the tire free
