| lipo bateries 2 lite? is that y people usin nicad??
lipo bateries 2 lite? is that y people usin nicad?? i have like 10 7.2v lipos 4 all my cars n gona b buying the scx10 tr. are the lipos not heavy enough to balance out the truck or effect its crawling ability/ weight placement?? thanks!

Someone still owes ya .2v each But seriously in anything, generally the best thing to do is keep your CG (Center of Gravity) as low as you can get it. you can have a light battery if you want. its the skill behind positioning of your gear. People use nicad-nihm cause their budget is tight,but if you think your pack is too light just add some wheel weights or stick-on flight weights to the front of your chassis.

imo, i dont think they are too light. i have 2 turnigy 2s 1300mah's side by side on my electronics plate up front and i love it!!! when one dies just unplug and plug in the other! and like stated before if it seems too light just add some wheel weights or weights to the chassis. .. .

i use a lipo, in mine i love it, its not to light or to heavy and its a 2 cell

the other thing i like is alittle more power andd it lasts longer, so longer trail runs i guess
