Default ckdotnet's SCX10 Wrangler

Hi there!

This is one of my first posts to rccrawler.com, so I start with a short introduction:
My name is Christian and I live near Cologne in Germany. I am into 1:1 offroad since some years (first suzukis, later jeeps) and a few months ago I got into contact with the Scale RC Hobby. When I saw the Tamiya Wrangler Hardbody I knew: "You have to try to build a miniature of your 1:1 rig!". Even though my first project is not completely finished I am already collecting parts for the next rcjeep. :laugh:

Here's my first project...

1:1 Inspiration

Under the hood (I have no photos with the wiring done, coming soon)

The work-in-progress roof rack

Current Status:

There is still much detail work to do. I am also planning to build a functional rooftop tent. My next project will be a NB Rubicon TJ with loads of tube work, mainly based on RC4WD parts. I'll keep you updated.

I shortened it 10 mm in the front and 35 mm in the rear.
290 mm Stock --> now 245 mm
