Default Batt size????

For my birthday and x-mas list I have the SCX10 kit and TR for my wife and have no clue what one I will end up getting. I'm wondering what the batt size is so I can see if I already have batts that will work or get some that will work. I'm hoping that my flightmax 4000 2s lipo's will work at 138L 48W and 24H. I have other sizes but think it would be easier if someone could just give me the size of area. Thanks guys

The Axial battery tray will accommodate a 7 cell flat NiCD/NiMH lack.

I can get you actual measurements of the battery tray tonight when I get off work. I'll post'em here.

Just make sure you have a ESC that will work with your battery

Ok, so the maximum size of battery that can fit in the SXC10 battery tray is 5.75" long and 2" wide. Hope this helps.

4500 mah and 30c. How long do you think run times would be with this in a TR with stock electronics? It is 5.6 inches long and under 2 inches wide and should fit. Runtime length anyone?

Crap!!!! Alittle to big then. I'm not sure if I can work with the extra 8mm long and the 3mm wide.
Would be nice to try that batt up and over..

i have a 2000 mah 30c lipo in mine and get over an hour and a half with a 55t motor. if you use the stock battery tray either in the back or over the front, you shouldn't have any problems with that pack. it's when you try to get a little more creative with placement that you'll want a smaller pack.

I prefer a smaller battery like the turnigy 2 cell 2200. Less weight

I am running a Hobby City 2200mah 3c. I am getting about 1-1/2 hours of run time on a Holmes Cobalt 7t with a 14t pinion.
