Hello there, gonna put up a progress/ build thread on my TR. Got it about a week ago in a trade as of now pretty much stock with a older 19t brushed motor. Added a canvas top made from old carhart jacket that was torn up. In the next week the real fun begins. I have a week off work and gonna sling some tube and mount up a clod body. Will have a full cage dovetailed and possibly dove nosed as well. As well as all metal diy links. on to the pics.. ![]()

That is cool enough for me I just got my TR a few weeks ago and am on my first mods for it too. I just painted my wheels black and made some wheel arches (paint's still drying as we speak Did you fab your own rear links ? I was thinking of going for metal links as my next upgrade Do you often get hung up on the front bumper ? It's starting to get on my nerves .. it looks cool and all but it's a bit in the way :?

Yep used some traxxas rod ends, all tread and some aluminum tubing. As for the front bumper not yet. I am thinking of building a skid plate with some sheet aluminum that i have form my 1:1.

Push the front bumper in until it fits snug against the body. It will be between the holes to put the set screws in. Drill new holes a bit smaller than the set screw threads, force screw the set screws in to make new threads and wallah. It may not seem like much but it really makes a difference from getting the bumper hung up.
