Default SCX-10 with Mamba System

Question. Would a Mamba Max ESC with 5700 Kv motor destroy the SCX-10 drivetrain? Would it be completely undriveable?

I saw the thread and videos on the Bender Customs build and loved the truck and thought that maybe I would try that. I already have the motor and esc which is why I asked.

I ran mine like that for just a bit...have a ax10 turned scaler...same drive train...I would change some things, but turning at 60000 rpms seems kinda high for a rig that was made to go sllooooww...

but its fun in the mud....

yea its interesting to say the least the only real thing you will damage will be the tranny outputs. it is fun in the mud but very hard to drive. i run a mamba max and a cobalt 7t puller best of all worlds.

is it possible to do something with the throttle curve or the timing to make it more useful in a scaler type rig?

I've ran a 4600 on 3s in mine, get a servo saver, and some driveshaft rings and you should be good.
