Default Lowering my Scx10

My stock scx10 sits really high. Is there a way to lower it? It just looks to beastly on my fj40 body lol I want a more daily driver look....

you could limit the shocks. take the rod end off the shock of the shock and open the shock up, slide the rod out, slip a piece of gas line from a nitro car/weed wacker or airline from a fish tank or anything like that on to the shaft and put it all back together. The longer the tubing the lower the truck will be. If this doesn't make any sense let me know and I will take a picture of the process for you. Its 1:16am and I don't know if I am thinking straight lmao.

Limiting the shocks is one, or using smaller shocks is another... or what about lowering the body?

Stocks are 90mm so you could try 70-80mm. Body drop is a good idea because you will keep the ground clearance. Here is how to limit the shocks though. Notice the tubing I slid onto the shaft. We want pics when you are done

I have 110mm shocks I used for my SCX10, they are really too long, to keep the same amount of travel, I've just used shorter springs (more droop). Now it sits lower than with the stock shocks. This set up is not the best but it works.

Do you have problems with the spring coming "off track" at full flex? I thought about running a droop setup but have heard good and bad.
