Default Newbright jeep body question

Hey all i just picked up a newbright TJ from toys r us for pretty cheap i guess but i was just wondering if this would be the right one for the SCX chassis. I always see the rock crawler TJ one but this one is a little different. It says 1/10 scale and when i put it side by side with the NB FJ, it looked similar in size. Here it is. Whatcha all think?

Why not just measure the width and wb of the body and compare it to that of an scx10?

I had to add 1 5/8" to mine to match the stock SCX-10 wheelbase.

Still a work in progress but it's coming along. I call it my TJ 6.

Is that styrene that you guys are using to fill the gap? If so, where can i get styrene and is it hard to work with? Im ready to do some chopping but i wanna make sure i have everything before i start hacking. I cant wait. I just love the long wheelbase TJ's!

Yup, that's styrene. I got it at my LHS. Along with Plastruct plastic weld.

This is the first time I've used it for this kinda project and it's not as bad as I thought it was gonna be. Up till this project all I've done with it was to make some scale items for my 1/6 Willys.
