| 2JSC's Savage Samurai SAVAGE SAMURAI Vehicle Specs:
Decided I'd go a head and post this up. I mainly got the inspiration for this build from Harley's RubberBelly Racing build. I loved it so much I wanted an SCX tuber for myself. I tossed around the idea of using a Descender body but wanted to be different and I decided I wanted a Samurai. After searching around for Sammy builds, I found one I liked that was built by a guy named Blake Savage. Here's a picture of the 1:1 this build is going to be loosely based on. I say loosely because the real rig has an IFS and I wanted a solid axle up front. These are the latest pictures that Zorlac sent me. Updates will be posted as I get them from Zorlac. I hope to get this thing back home soon! Last edited by 2JSC; 12-03-2009 at 01:42 AM. |

| Thanks guys! Sucks that it's so close to the holidays, I've got so much to do and so little time. I'm sure that once it's in my hands I'll find time to work on it. |

Zorlac did a nice job of cramming everything in up front. There is the 3Racing winch and the big Axial light buckets from the TR. The stinger had to be pushed out a bit, but I think I can live with it. It ALMOST has that KOH's look to it. |

I will - I have a 27t here that I'll probably drop in, but I hope to switch over to lipo soon so a 3s will help scoot this thing along nicely. | ||

Got another update from Zorlac. Everything is welded in place and all the panels have been added. Here's the dash and steering column. Winch and light mounts up front. |

Jerry really has a hand for the scale stuff huh! Glad he keeps knocking them out. The dash looks great.
