I put a limiting strap on my shocks to keep them from hyper-extending and popping the tops off.

I think axial limited them cause the shafts they use in the stock shocks are too long. That and maybe with the limiters in it gives the truck a more scale suspension travel. All I know is I took them out to get better performance

| nope the shock shaft is the correct length you can compress them all the way with no trouble, but it may be a little more scale for travel but eh its just a little travel

Interesting my rtr shocks done compress all the way. Maybe too much oil or air in them. Doesn't matter as I switched to prolines shock and they are awesome

That is usually the result of too much oil. There is a thread in here somewhere on how to properly build the stock shocks that if you follow to the T, will give you perfect performance every time.

I guess when I build my trail honcho kit I just won't install the limiters on the shock shafts!
