Default Scx10 assembly question...

So I just got my Scx10 in the mail tonight and im putting it together as we speak... I jsut got to the part were you put the drive shafts together and I can not for the life of me get the metal u joint into the piece it mates with... I just cant seem to get the rite angle to make it fit in... An tips or tricks guys?

Put the driveshafts in really hot water to soften them up a bit.

I usually just use a tool to pry the metal joint into the driveshaft ears. Pretty much anything that fits in there will work, but I have found that a 3.0mm hex wrench does the job nicely:

That's what I do every time with the tip of some needle nose pliers, works every time

I like that tip with the 3.0 hex driver.

I usually just put them in a vice but I'll have to try that.
