Ok, heres my 07 crew cab Chevy Silverado.

Started off with extending my wheel base on a scx way out to 13.5" for this body...
I used some traxxas links up front wrapped in black heat shrink and then added an inch of delrin to the back links.

I hate how these have a short back window with those supports on the sides of the front of the bed...

So I cut it all out. I'll be adding a new rear window and bed cover.

Got it masked off.

Got it painted bright red. With spaz mirror chrome side trim and front middle bumper.

Last thing for today, I got the side windows all tinted with Pactra tint.

I'll prolly get to the rear window tomorrow, get it made and start on a bed cover too as well as all the body stickers.

Got my bed cover made outta .60 styrene.

Still gonna try to do a window seal/trim on the rear window. More to come!

Some lexan from another body. Then just tinted it with spray on tint.

Looks pretty good so far. Do you just glue to the inside after you painted?

Looks good, I would have taken it one step further and made a drop bed for it.

Yeah I just glued it from the inside. I was gonna do a bed Canadianbacon, but with the way it sits on the chassis, the suspension would have had to come through it, so I decided against it for now.

I got all the stickers put on too...

Looking good so far. I didn't know that body was 13.5" . My truck is at 13" and I thought that was long.

Looks Awesome Did you cut the wheel openings more than stock to fit the tires?

Just a very little bit on the front bumper and on the front of the rear fenders.

Update.....

I added a rear bumper I had from a previous project

I decided to make a front brush guard out of white delrin, if I decide to use it I will spray it with some black plastidip...

Opinions? Should I use the front bumper or not? I like how it turned out but think it might not be the right look.
