Can the hand brothers chassis mounted servo kit be used with these knuckles? http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Vanquish-...k-p-17350.html

I wasn't sure about the clearance between the two.

yep, I have the steering kit and those knuckles. It works just fine. If you mount the steering link over the knuckles, the drag link will hit the frame, still works just fine but you will lose a bit of articulation.
