If this is truely a TR, how did you get the tan body? Did you add that after the fact as I have noticed the bodies on the TR are all silver. Nice work as I like it!

I just painted the stock body on the outside PS-silver and than TS-flat sand. Also, I added some HPI Defender stickers. Pete | |

| So where did you get the HPI Defender decals? Did you have to buy the whole body and then just use the stickers? I'd like to do this, but don't want to have to buy the whole body ($35 or so) just to get the stickers.

I always thought it would look like a Defender D90 with the HPI stickers. Very nice! |

Nice! I should've done that to my TR instead of cutting the body to use inside my blazer shell. The red Hilux looks good as well. Is there a build thread for that one somewhere? |

| Very nice, I'm a supporter of anything that gets more landies out on the trails. Really love the diamond plate. If you used the plastruct sheet, did you glue it down? Also, the drop bed on that hilux looks great.

Thanks ! I returned today to the same place, but a little snow covered ! BTW: The front batt position was a bit to front heavy for me, with a heavy stick pack, thatīs what I always run. The truck flipped on steep descents over the front axle. I returned to the back position of the battery (much lower there) and added 105g (3,7 in US) of weight to each front tire. Feels much more balanced now, like the battery and the front wheels keep the COG in the middle ! Pete |
