| Honcho - Twisted Style
So - looky me - I got a honcho to ( <- sarcasm) So heres the build picks that no one wants to see: heres the body painted - i took another direction on the front headlights then what was available on the "sticker sheet". Thought i would share and see how many people copy it More pics and tech to come.... maybe even some video at Daniels Park if your good. And heres a build tip: Get yourself a good hobby knife set ($10 at lowes) and trim your stickers! It will give it such a nicer clean look then having all that clear plastic everywhere.. also - after applying your windows and such - use the exacto knife to remove the clear center sections to clean it up. Funny thing about the headlights, that's just the way I planned on doing it. So would that mean you coppied me, before hand? Are you psychic??? All kidding aside, I like it. |

just be sure to wash the surface and your hands first before painting! anything from finger prints to smudges will transfer through!

Those Honchos look great. I have a SCX10 TR on the back of a UPS truck headed my way as I type as well as a 1980 K10 body for it. Can't wait |

Did you paint that on the inside or the outside of the body and bed/diamond plate?

| Silicone bead around the edge, and enough to fill the gap. as little as you can get away with if you ever want to open it up again. otherwise you could try closing the box onto a balloon or something like that to seal the edge, maybe a big o-ring and dielectric grease for the gap? Or you could just waterproof everything inside and not worry about it lol
