Ahhhh looks like I may have to match mine to the body aswell. The silver wheels just look funny. I wired up the electrics yesterday but found my servo horn was hitting one of the front chassis braces. So I decided to install the Hand Bro's steering kit. It seems to fit ok so far but I haven't really tested it fully yet |

looks good man. Nice color choice, I just blasted mine in Gunmetal yesterday too. I am also on the fence wether or not I like the chrome wheels. I think even a regular silver color would look better then the bright chrome. Or maybe Black. I thought about just hitting them with Tamiya Smoke paint to make it close to the gunmetal. The smoke paint that I have is polycarbonate paint though so it probably wouldn't stick though. I have to go build some more on mine. Maybe I will do a build thread. Yours looks really cool and the photo has motivated me to work faster! Thanks for sharing. |

Took the Honcho out for a quick run to see how it handles. Nothing to fancy just a quick run in the back yard. I fitted the Pro-line Scale shocks & so far I'm not real impressed. Guess I'll work on them a lil more. The Hand Bro's steering kit works ok. The drag link hits on the diff bracket so I can't get full travel on the left side. I played around with the kit & ended up using one of the Axial bent rod ends that are used with the 3 link. Helped fix the problem a little. I know Hand Bro's have a new bracket on the way & this will fix it. Really like the RC4WD Rok Lox tires, When I fitted them I used the Pro-line foams from the kit tires as it felt a lot softer, even had a slight memory. The Tekin FX-R Crawler combo withe the 35t motor seems ok so far. A bit jerky at low speeds & the reverse is stupid. I still have to play & research the settings yet. I also used the servo mount as a quick battery mount. I used the mounting post that hold the original battery tray up. It's just a quick fix until I get some time to make up a new plate for the electronics |

| you can always sand blast the rims or scuff them done with a red scuff pad and prime them and then use a black gloss or flat black, whatever color i guess you want to use

Man I'm tellin ya our trucks are going to look nearly Identical! I did my bed silver and truck gunmetal too. I'll try to put m "Axial" stickers in a different spot lol. My gas tank is going to get the Red stickers for now too. Thanks for posting the new picks. I actually think the Chrome wheels look good with your(our) color scheme. I like it a lot good job. |

I was going to go with a satin black but they were popping up everywhere in that colour. So I still wanted a dark truck & Gun metal it is |

I was positive I was going gunmetal after I saw the "leaked" photo's before the release. I like the color a lot. Seeing your Pics has gotten me motivated to finish mine up today. I have had it since wednesday night but have had a lot going on around here. We are getting a whopper of a snowstorm today through tomorrow. Good Excuse to stay in and build. Only trouble is my body reamer & scissors are in the mail (first build). If they don't show up today it will be monday or tuesday before I will get to it. I would just take the exacto to it but I think I am afraid of slipping. |

If you have the right tolls in the mail then I'd wait till they arrive. Worst thing is when you stuff up a body on the last step |

The Lipo came with my AX-10. All I know is what's written on it. |
