Question Spur gear for my scx10

Dear Friends,
i want more tourque for my scx10.
in the manual of my scx10 i saw that i can use 96t spur gear for more torque, but i can not find a serial number for this spur.
does anybody knows the code for this spur gear in axial or in any other company?
i have try to use KIMBROUGH 96T but the diameter of this spur is too big.
any suggestions?

a 48p 96t spur gear is a 48p 96t spur gear all day long. It doesn't matter what brand you use they will all have the same outside dimention. You didn't mention any other specs on your set up, but I would suggest you volt-up some for more torque. Or if you insist on the 96t spur, someone used to sell extended outputs for axial trans that would put the yoke out beyond the spur, perhaps that would be your option.

aside from pitch, how many teeth on a spur soforth....

a new motor with different windings will either increase or decrease tQ/top speed.

a real good battery with high mAh rating will keep you going longer and deliver the tQ you have setup on the rig

Lighten the truck as much as possible (if possible) to bring the tQ up.

lower the pinion tooth count and get a motor with more torque, ive never messed with the spur except when i got an aluminum one, but my cobalt puller has great torque and wheelspeed.

x2 on volt up best thing i ever did was getting lipo charger and some cheap 3 cell lipos. 11.1 volts is a heck of a lot more torque and overall power than 7.2 especially if you want torque solid through the rpm's and wheel spin when you need it. "rock racing"
