Default Locked Up's "Scale Ready" Rings ... by ATI

I was looking for a way to add some nice scale looking beadlock rings to my SCX10. I wanted them to add weight and to be easy to install/remove for foam tuning. After tossing around a few ideas I decided to have some custom made by Solomon at ATI.

These mount using the same 6 holes that the normal Axial 1.9 ring uses. The other 12 holes are threaded and you just nip off the back of the screws, so they are just for looks.

They came out so well he is going to mass produce them as "Locked Up's Scale Ready Rings". I can't remember what he said he was looking at for pricing but I'm sure he'll post up in here with something. He also said he has proper hardware so you won't have to modify (nip) the screws like I did on these "prototypes".

I'll post up some pics of them on my H2 when/if the sun comes out tomorrow.

I don't remember what he said he was gonna charge for them but I sent him an email with a link to this so hopefully he'll chime in if he's not on vacation.

Thanks Guy's .. Patrick did the design that turned out KILLER.

The Stainless I am looking at $35.00 for the set of 4 rings and hardware.
The Aluminum I am looking at $25.00 for the set of 4 rings and hardware.

They will be out after the new year. My wife is about to have our #2 kid so hard to make a plan now.

2005?

Hell,
I think TR started the wheels back in 97/98 as one of their original products.

Makes me feel ancient at 33.

Unless I missed your point. Which happens a lot when you get older...

For anyone interested, there are mounted and rolling pics in my H2 build thread and on my website.
