Default honch front axle clearence problem??

I just picked up a new honcho built it up and was messing around w. the front suspension. I noticed i wasnt getting full suspension travel because the servo horn kept getting jamped up in the front chassie brace.* not the bumper mount the one behind it* . I had to shave off some of the brace for it to get full travel. Im running a jr servo and i know my friends scx-10 didnt have this problem. anybody else run into this?

the honcho has a longer wheelbase and axial seems to have overlooked the interference problem, everyone is either trimming or removing the front crossmember. best way in my opinion is a chassis mounted servo.

I used the mount's that only mount to the lower hole in the servo they are set back more. Other's have put a metal arm on their servo and that has fixed the clearance issue's also.

Hand Bros. will release their chassis servo mount for the Honcho soon. But yes other shave backed up the servo on the mounting plate.

read through this thread.

Just use TLT servo mounts and the problem goes away.

I had this problem with an Ace 1015 servo. I had the Aluminum Pro arm that not only screws on but also has the two clamp screws that literally clamp the servo down. Once I tighted those up, I pulled the main screw out. It all clears and it will hold just fine.
