Default Lakota's Honcho/Tacoma

Here are a few pics of my new rig. Pretty excited about after getting back from my deployment and had some time to get it put togther. Plans are in work to get the lights done and add a winch. Waiting on my stickers from Bowtie to make it complete. Running a 45T motor, Rooster crawler speedo and 2300 Mah Lipo.

Default Paint and lights

The paint is Pactra Sprint white, did about 5 light coats until no light would pass through and then backed it with Pactra silver. I just used double sided tape to hold the light buckets in place. You could also use shoe goo to hold them in place as well

Default Lights

Here are some lights I picked up from radio Shack to experiment with. May go brighter for the headlights.

I will get the specifics later and post them up for the lights

I used 2 each radio shack part #276-0017 for the headlights and used two yellow led's from a package (part #276-1622). Didnt use any resistors as I had all 4 leds wired in series but they would not light up, cut it down to two led's in series (one white, one yellow) and the lit up fine. Using the power off of the speed control which I think is 4.8 volts. each series of leds is then powered in parrallel.
The leds for the Piaa lights and tail lights I purchased from my LHS, they are for the Losi Desert Truck and the are being powered by the receiver.
