Default Kit included 1.9 wheels/ tires

I'm SCX10 kit. What size did you drill for vent holes in the 1.9 wheels?

Does making two 1/8" holes on opposite spots on each wheel sound about right?

That's exactly what I did. Two 1/8" holes in each wheel.

This thread will probably turn into a wheel venting vs. tire venting discussion.

I vented my AX10's but never vented my SCX10's and it crawls just fine.

1/8th is a good vent size.

On my ax-10 I did one 1/8"vent hole, but on my scx I did not vent because it will see some use in water and I didn't want to wreck the foams. But if I were to vent them I would at least do one hole

I weighted them and did 2 1/8" holes in each front and 1 1/8" hole in each rear. I don't do water, it's just plain not good for anything IMO

I went with 2 1/16" holes drilled in each wheel spaced 180 degrees apart. I wanted less chance of water, dirt and rocks getting in. Plus I can put a small screw in each hole if I want to run in water.
