Default look another Honcho...

I picked this up from a local crawler man... He had built it and never drove it. So I added my electronis and this is the end result..
Castle Sidewinder ESC,
Epic 45t pro mod motor
3 cell 2100 lipo
hs645mg servo
lights throughout..

I brought in the rock sliders just a bit

I painted the wheels satin black

I mounted up a couple of lights

On the way is a 3Racing winch and Bowtie stickers for it.

looking good.

I gave some thought to putting a light or two on the tube work like you did. I think it looks good.

how did you run the wires?

Did you do anything to prep the chrome wheels or did you just blast them? What paint did you use for them?

I ran the wires along side the top of the roll cage and down them as well then I wrapped them tight with black electrical tape...And as for the wheels I only primered them on each side and then coated them with satin black Krylon....about 3 cotes of paint.

I cut about 3/8 inch off of the rockslider posts and the same amount off of the frame mounts then I redrilled holes in the frame mounting tabs..

I like the looks of your truck.I am thinking about getting back in the hobby and like this truck. What kind of speed do you get out of your motor and esc set up?

wheel speed is amazing, and I am using a 19t pinion also. The torque is still there and my run times are about 1 hr. on a charge...

I was thinking about the wheel wells on many scaler pictures. You sure beat everyone to that. Good job.
