Default Question for anyone who's built a SCX10 kit

I'm getting started on my SCX10 kit (original pickup version) and I noticed something in the manual that I don't know if it's a typo or what...

When building the front gearcase, it shows using grease on the ends of the axles where they enter the diff case. When building the rear gearcase, the same step shows using threadlock instead of grease on the axle ends where they enter the diff case.

Is this a typo, or is there some reason it's like that?

Yes this is a typo, there are a few in the manual. Just use your common sense and you can figure out what they meant. I know there was a thread somewhere that posted the mistakes. I think there were 3 of them.

Yeah I'm aware of the other mistakes. So... whats up with this? Grease on both, threadlock on both?

grease on both of the axles where they go into the diff
Only time you need threadlock is on threads in this truck.
