Default Hilux Honcho Hybrid Thread

Hilux Honcho Hybrid Thread-

It seem like there are at least a few of us building these hybrids with the new honcho rear and many have asked questions about this combo. So here is a thead that people can put pics, share there ideas and ask tec questions about building a Hilux Honcho Hybrid.

I'm in the process of building one so I'll post some pics to get this thread going. The rest is up to you guys if your interested. If your building one post up some pics or info.

The challenging part was connecting the Hilux cab with the frame and make it line up correctly. To do this I extended the top ends of the frame towards the cab with some spacers and on the middle mounts I attached brass peices with two holes drilled so I could drill into the cab a little closer to the center. Otherwise it would have to be attached to close to the sides of the truck cab. The Honcho rear frame is a little wide for the Hilux cab but it's workable. Hope this is helpful
