| Bumper for the Honcho
Has anyone tried the TR bumper on the Honcho? I just don't really like the Honch bumper. It's a little bulky. What about the Proline bumpers are they any good? If anyone has pics that would be helpful. Thanks for your help.

Another bumper you might want to look at using is the stock front bumper off a Traxxas Summit.. I have one mounted on my scx10 with toyota hard body.. Looks deadly!

I've been looking at peoples custom bumpers for a while. I have the TR bumper and it looks great but it sticks out a bit far for me. Been looking for something that helps get me over the rocks better.

| I found it and it does look good. I would change the leds out, those look greenish (or is it an illusion?).

| Ya that's what I don't like. The bumper that came with my honcho is really bad. Totally in the way.

I'm not a fan of the bumper that came in honcho kit either. I still fiddle with the bumper till it appeals to my taste. If it doesn't, I better start learning how to braze so I can make one that looks lot better than the bumper that came with the kit.

Im eventually going to modify mine by cutting the 2 sides off and leaving the one center skid. I think it will look better

| Can you take a picture of that from the side? I'm wondering how it all lines up with the chassis. How much hangs down below it, etc. thanks Last edited by Locked Up; 01-19-2010 at 04:01 PM. |

| I'm not a fan of the Honcho bumper either. I did try both the TR bumper and Pro-line. The TR bumper just didn't look right, it sat way to low and just did not look very Toyota. The Pro-line bumper looked OK, but the problem is that it is so squared off on the back and the Honcho is so curved in the front...it just didn't line up right. I think my next try is the Summit bumper, if that doesn't work I guess I will stick with the Honcho Bumper.

| It did help alot with approach angle . I also moved the mount back 1 hole on the frame . So the bumper fits the body better .
