| Has anyone tried this yet?
My Honcho should be here today and would like to know if it can easily be leaf sprung. Never built a scaler before and would like give it a try. I think the leaf springs would add an extra flavor. |

It won't work, atleast without some modifications. The Honcho has an inch on the stock SCX10, and that is what the kit is built for. Sure it will bolt up, but it will look like crap on the Honcho.

Front's still stretched out I think? I don't have truck yet, but Im pretty sure it's 8mm off? May still look ok depending on the cut in the body.

Yeah the front is stretched because people were running into issues with the original hand bros. kits and such.

I have not had a chance to try our kit on a Honcho simply because I cannot get my hands on one locally, however I'd sold 3 kits to Honcho users and haven't heard anything negative back. Because our front servo mount is Flat and not molded to the C channel frame it can simply be moved forward. Without seeing the truck, this may be accomplished by using factory holes or having to drill new holes. This I'm unsure off. Same goes for the leaf spring hangers. They should be able to be placed upfront, but your rear spring shackles look like they need to be drilled. |
