That's usually the way I want it. I think the suspension is just about right.

My stock suspension works fine, in fact I have the collars adjusted all the way to the top. I'm running 3oz of weight in each wheelso that may be helping.

If you can't do that then add some wheel weight to keep the tires planted if you haven't already done so. | |

you mean the shocks are fully compressed, maxed to the bump stops, and the tires dont come off the ground, unless you lift the tire that is being raised a lilbit higher and then the rear of the truck starts to lift? if you followed the instructions on building the shocks, red spring on top, green on bottom. then everything is normal. if you left out the bump stop(lil black silcone tube), then you will have alot more travel in your suspension. jez im slow... by the time i got done typing 4 people responded. Yea mine came perfect in stock form. I did just take out about 1/4" to lower them a little and now they seem a little stiff but the new tire/wheel combo does not have weights in them where my previous set up did. I think if you put 2 to 3 oz in each front wheel you should be fine. Axial does offer a variety of spring rates as options so maybe experiment with some of those. I will be doing this as soon as get some.

I'm thinking of doing what MRC guys do and using the stock bump stops inside the shock body instead of outside to limit the suspension travel and get the truck to sit lower. This truck would look great slammed over 1.9 Rok Lox |

I was lifting a tire with travel still left in the shocks with the stock SCX-10 springs. I put 40mm white soft springs on all 4 corners with the red 20mm springs. http://www.tcscrawlers.com/Axial-Rac...6-p-17331.html |
