Default Actual scale of the Honcho?

I have read some ppl say the Honcho is closer to 1/9 or 1/8 scale. Has anyone checked on this? I dont know how this would be checked since its a generic body. The closest thing I think would be to a Tacoma.

It does look kinda large to be 1/10. Any thoughts?

Its actually 1/9.2337 scale. I have no information to back this up.

I can tell you the honcho appears bigger than my (1.9) tamiya F350 when compared side by side.

I can't measure any honcho parts for you since I sold them but....

The newbright JK is slightly over 1/8th scale, and the honcho bumper fits it perfectly, also the honcho body is very close to the same size in terms of width and wheel arches as the newbright jk.

Knowing this, I'd say the honcho is the same scale as the jk, slightly over 1/8th scale.

In that case the 1.9 wheels are closer to a 15"-16" rim. I used the link provided by Nitro_Geezer_UK and 15" @ 1/8 scale is 1.875 and 16" is 2. Actually, the "scale down" function shows 1.9 to be 15.2 full scale. Either way its close.

This tells me there's no reason to use a 1.55 wheel on the Honcho. That would put them like a scale 12" rim.

Thanks guys!

I measured the height of my neighbors 05 Tacoma's door window...~19"
Honcho's door window's height is ~1.75"
That will put the Honcho close to 1/11th scale......but that is based on a 05 Tacoma. Earlier models shouldn't be off too much.

I know the RC world uses its scale terms loosely too. My 1/10 Revo Silverado body is nowhere near the size of my 1/10 Slash truck body, LOL!

Comparison to other scale vehicles is what I really wanted. The other issue I'm having is I dont actually have a Honcho yet, so I'm trying to tinker with something I dont have, LOL!

yeah seems they generally base the scale off the chassis size, not the body
