| Advice shocks upgrade SCX10 TR
I want some advice on changing the original scx10 tr shocks. Is a good idea changing the original ones for the Traxxas big bore? What about 110mm ? I read in other threads about 110mm but I dont know which brand can I use (integy?). The Traxxas big bore does not have 2 springs, which one is better 2 springs systems like the original or 1 spring? Thanks for your help. |

I have no experience with the Traxxas ones or Integy, but I personally wouldn't go with Integy for anything. The Big Bores will probably work well since some people use them on their comp rigs, but another alternative you have is the Power Stroke shocks from Pro Line, a bit pricey but haven't heard a single bad thing about them. http://www.prolineracing.com/product...mm-327-32.html |

I put RC4WD's on my TR because I had them. They are the 110mm dual sping scale shocks and I really like the performance I get from them. The 110's allowed me to put 2.2 tires on. If your not going w/ bigger tires I wouldn't recommend the longer shocks IMO.

Anyone know of a vendor who has 1.9 wider tires than the Proline Flatiron.:?

I run traxxas big bores, and I put the stock SCX springs on them. You just have to use the original spring retainers. They work great and don't leak. They are not as scale looking as other shocks out there, but I got a great deal on them and they perform. I went with the 4" ones. Drunk |
